How to get to Ericeira from Lisbon? It’s easy! Whether you are coming from Lisbon airport or the center, there are several ways to get to our surf town from the capital. By rental car, public transport, private transfer or Uber. From Lisbon airport it’s only a 35 minute drive, from the center of Lisbon around 50 minutes. Public transport is cheaper, but takes a bit longer. We’ll tell you all about it.

From Lisbon to Ericeira by rental car

If you want to be flexible, fast and do things on your own time, we recommend to rent a car. Here you can check out our rental car partner. You can choose a pick up point, such as Lisbon airport, or in down town Lisbon. First you take the A1 Norte, then the A8 Oeste and finally the A21 to Ericeira. Use our Google Maps location to easily navigate your way. At Olá Onda we have plenty of space for parking. From Lisbon to Ericeira by public transport

The most sustainable and ecological friendly way of traveling is obviously by public transport. In Lisbon you’ll need to find your way to Campo Grande, where the direct bus to Ericeira leaves. You can reach Campo Grande by metro. At Lisbon airport you need to take the red line first and then the green line. From down town Lisbon you can take the green or yellow line. Plan your bus travels here. Your exit will be the main Ericeira Bus Terminal. From there it’s about a 12 minute walk to Olá Onda, or we can pick you up free of charge.

From Lisbon to Ericeira by private transfer

Get in touch with us to arrange a private transfer from Lisbon airport or Lisbon city center. The driver will be waiting for you at the arranged meeting spot at the arranged time, so this is the most stress free and fastest option. Prices start at €55 from Lisbon Airport to Olá Onda, but can vary depending on the time and day (at night and in the weekends it will be more expensive – up to €65-€70).

From Lisbon to Ericeira by Uber or Bolt

Both Uber and Bolt work really well in Lisbon and Ericeira, so it’ll be easy to find one. Prices depend on the time and day, but can start as cheap as €35 from Lisbon Airport.
